DELE fan and Cheltenham Top Talent hopeful, Eloise Willetts, of Up Hatherley, has been rehearsing daily for her chance to get to the final of the competition which is being held in Beechwood shopping centre.
The 10-year-old pupil, who is in year six at Leckhampton Primary School, is said to be "excited, but sometimes a little bit nervous" at her upcoming performance, which is inspired by singer Adele, who is her idol.
"I would say she is my inspiration, I really like her voice and I am going to sing one of her songs, Someone like you, for my audition."
Eloise added, "I like to sing to others, I am in my school choir and have a big range because I can sing all the different parts."
Mum Anne Willetts, 37, a community family worker for Leckhampton children's centre, said, "I am always so proud of Eloise, she sang in a competition at a Haven Holiday Centre and was brilliant.
"I was so proud then, so am going to be even more proud at this I am sure."
Eloise can't wait for the chance to sing again in front of so many people and she is going to buy a special dress just for this performance so she can look even more like Adele.
"I want to look like she does; she is so pretty so I want a proper dress."
The deadline for entries is noon tomorrow (Friday, November 11) , with auditions taking place at the Beechwood Shopping Centre on November 26. The final will be on December 18.
