Rising UK band Dry The River will be playing a free live instore show at Rise, the independent music store in the Beechwood Arcade, Cheltenham, from 6pm on 15 November 2011.
The hotly tipped band will be performing songs from their new vinyl E.P. ‘Weights & Measures’ and will be staying after the show to sign copies for fans. It will be the band’s first release since signing to Sony Records earlier this year after just a handful of live gigs.
Rise store manager Ben Hughes said “I’ve been trying to get the band into the shop to play live since two of our staff saw them earlier this year and said how amazing they were. The interest in the band has been growing locally and nationally throughout the year and I’m sure it’s going to be a very busy and special event”.
