Indie frontman Tim Wheeler from Ash and singer-songwriter Emmy The Great will be performing a special festive instore at Rise, Beechwood Shopping Centre, to celebrate the release of their new Christmas album 'This Is Christmas'.

The pair will be playing live from 3pm on Saturday 10th December and will be staying to sign copies of the new CD for fans.

The project all started last year when the couple were left stranded at home for days during the heavy winter's snowfall. They decided to use the time to try their hand at writing a few festive tunes and what is now being released as a full length album.

Tim has said about the collaboration; "I'm a sucker for all kinds of Christmas songs, from carols to Nat King Cole to '70s glam rock classics, and it felt like a good time to contribute something new to the genre."
