Photography Exhibition at Beechwood Shopping Centre
A Photography Exhibition focussing on Social Documentary Photography by third year Photojournalism and Documentary Students, Josie LaTorre, Hilary Lester and Jessica Southam, and Mass Communications Student Yoyo Cheung will take place at Beechwood Shopping Centre on the Saturday 17th March to Friday the 23rd March. Patron of Rugby for Heroes, Mike Tindall, joins Premiership players and 1 RIFLES to support the Armed Forces at the signing of the Rugby For Heroes 2012 calendar in Cheltenham. Magical Family Fun at Beechwood!
Beechwood Shopping Centre is hosting a series of Magical Family Fun days every Saturday from 26th November to the 17th December, from 10am – 4pm. Christmas Lights Switch-On at Beechwood
Cheltenham’s Beechwood shopping centre is gearing up for Christmas with a full programme of activities in the centre for the day of the town’s Christmas lights switch-on on Saturday, November 19. The fun will include a rocking rodeo reindeer ride with a prize for whoever stays on the longest. The town lights switch-on will be at 5.30pm but the day-long events in Beechwood start with a children’s facepainter who will arrive at 10am until 4pm – and it’s free. The Ukelles - Top Talent at Beechwood Shopping Centre
Leah Collins and Francesca Fiorentini, better known as The Ukelles, are among the first batch of entrants to Cheltenham's Top Talent competition to be held in Beechwood shopping centre. "We really love our ukuleles and we thought it would be a good chance to show the world what we can do with the instrument," said Leah, 16. "Not a lot of people play it these days, but it cheers people up and puts a smile on their faces."
